TEMPORARY ORDER OCTOBER 2023

UK Power Networks works.
To allow network upgrading works to be carried out, Kent County Council has
made an Order to temporarily prohibit through pedestrians on Spot Lane,
Downswood.

A closure is planned from 12th October 2023, with estimated completion by 8th
November 2023, or where stated on a valid Permit (KZ50075703701-04 - UK
Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works
with appropriate signage displayed on site and the works will be displayed
on One.Network

The footpath on Spot Lane, Downswood will be closed between Derringwood
Drive and Church Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The footpath closure is required for the safety of the public and
workforce while network upgrading works are undertaken by UK Power
Networks.

The alternative route for pedestrians is via Church Road, Deringwood Drive and
vice versa.
